RMYIS
There is no cost to the participants who attend RMYIS. All the costs are generously covered by the Founders Cup Charity Foundation with additional support of the Haney Rotary club and a collection of the community. This includes the cost of food, accommodation, registration cost for the summit and transportation to and from Loon Lake.
Besides having an amazing amount of 'Fun' you will create or renew friendships and relationships with likeminded youth in our two communities. You will be given the chance to learn key skills in Networking, Problem Solving, Multiple techniques of Leadership, Teambuilding & setting Life Goals. We want to empower you to attain your dreams!
Good question! As a Leader you know that leadership, like life itself, requires constant nurturing and learning. Participants come from a background ranging from extreme shyness to confident, outgoing involvement in their school and community. All are welcome to apply!
Yes! Most prospective employers are impacted when they see evidence of leadership skills combined with the willingness to pursue growth. Put it in your portfolio!

Friday October 20th 10-11am at Greg Moore Youth Centre.
Pickup is at 6pm in the Greg Moore Youth Centre on Sunday October 22nd 6:15-6:30pm.
Note: that participants will be transported to and from Loon Lake Retreat Centre in Maple Ridge from the Greg Moore Youth Centre via school bus.
Each candidate is responsible for transportation to and from the Greg Moore Youth Centre. Transportation from the Youth Centre to the Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre is provided by the summit via school bus. If you need assistance getting to the drop off location respond to your summit confirmation email and we will try get you into a carpool.

This is a technology free weekend! Cell phones, Androids, iPones/iPads or any other internet device are not permitted during the program. Parents / Guardians will be able to contact the Camp Office and, if necessary, cell numbers will be given out in the event of an emergency.
Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel and toiletries as well as an insulated travel mug.
And...bring an item that tells something about you. i.e. musical instrument, craft, hobby, special interest, vocation etc. You may wish to use the item when introducing yourself on Friday evening.
Casual clothing is suitable for all activities. You should have clothing and footwear appropriate for athletic activities no matter the weather cold, rainy, or sunny.
This is the perfect experience for you! By attending this program you will gain the tools and the self assurance that will propel you into the ranks of a true leader.
